We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 National Summit on the Social Drivers of Health will be held November 9-11, 2025, in Washington, DC. This year’s summit is particularly special as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, marking a decade of collective action toward health equity.
The Root Cause Coalition’s annual National Summit brings together representatives from health systems, hospital associations, foundations, businesses, national and community nonprofits, health insurers, academic institutions and policy centers to share best practices. To finally achieve health equity we must work together, across sectors of service, to address systemic racism and the social drivers of health.
Known as the premier convening for all those working toward health equity, the National Summit brings together key stakeholders from health systems, hospital associations, foundations, businesses, national and community nonprofits, health insurers, academic institutions, local governments and policy centers to share best practices.
The 2025 National Summit will be held November 9-11, 2025, in Washington, DC. Our goal at the National Summit is to facilitate collaboration between and highlight the incredible work being done across the country by every type of organization working to achieve health equity. As such, the agenda reflects the cross-sector nature of our work and focuses on demonstrable, scalable, innovative ideas and programs and discussions with national health equity experts.

Health Justice Award
Once again, the TRCC Health Justice Award will highlight an organization that has successfully implemented programs or interventions to reduce health disparities. The winning organization will receive $25,000 and will be recognized at the "Celebrating a Decade of Dedication" gala on Monday, November 10, 2025. Nominations for the 2025 TRCC Health Justice Award will launch in March 2025.

Registration
The countdown has begun!
Registration for the 2025 National Summit will launch in December 2024. Most TRCC members receive complimentary registration(s) to the National Summit as a valuable member benefit. Each member's primary contact will receive a code to redeem the complimentary registrations from Molly Melnick, TRCC Member Relations Coordinator, in early December 2024. Additionally, those who opted to roll their registration from the 2024 National Summit forward to 2025, will receive a special code from TRCC staff in early December 2024.
