2024 National Summit

We have difficult news to share.

The 2024 TRCC National Summit on the Social Drivers of Health will be transitioning to a new format due to an active labor dispute at the venue. We understand this is incredibly disappointing news, as we share your enthusiasm for in-person events.   

As a Coalition striving to achieve health equity by addressing social drivers of health, we believe this is the correct decision to maintain the integrity of our mission.  We simply cannot in good conscience hold a conference at a venue where workers are fighting for a living wage. Our mission is to promote fairness and justice, and supporting this cause is a tangible way to demonstrate our commitment to these principles. We hope you will stand alongside us in support for a living wage for all working Americans.

 

Important updates for those who have already registered for the 2024 National Summit:

• We will be transferring your registration to our 10th annual National Summit to be held in Washington, DC on November 8-11, 2025. 
• If you prefer a refund, please email events@rootcausecoalition.org by September 30, 2024 and we will promptly process that for you back to your original form of payment. 
• If you booked within the Baltimore Hilton Inner Harbor hotel block, hotel management is automatically canceling those reservations. 

 

In the coming days, we will share details about the transition of 2024 National Summit presentations to a virtual education series, “Voices of Health Equity.” We are committed to providing a valuable and engaging experience and we are happy to share that this series will be available at no charge.
